Well, we had a good run.
I'm 40 now, I see the writing on the wall.
I'm not gonna waste my time with this shite anymore.
I figure I'll be 50 by the time this shite blows over, 60 when we get back to relevance, and I'll be honest, age 60-70 ain't the decade I want to be watching Mizzou only to be kicked in the nuts again.

I don't have time for 20 year old kids in college telling me how bad they have it.
I'm done, this is pretty much the last straw for me.

Mizzou is afraid to offend lower income social media liberals and thereby decides to offend middle and upper middle class Missourians - the backbone of the student body and alumni base. I'm not sure how many more kicks in the nuts we can handle, but like a tootsie pop, they are bound and determined to keep kicking until they find out.

Win last year and there's no boycott threat. A contending team for the East doesn't do that. A team where the coach is unfocused and the team is losing does.

But way more to lose. When you are 4-8, you have nothing to lose. When you are in the playoff and getting famous (ie draft stock), the risks become much higher.

My opinion, that team was looking for an identity. They found it through protesting. If they were winning, they'd have found it on the field.

The softball team won and protested the media and the administration didn't they? There was no outcry against them and really that stuff was washed under the rug.
