So most of us agree that Henson needs to go but....

Who replaces him? Why not bring in more from Memphis like Darrell Dickey?

He seems to be getting it done at Memphis and I think he could fix our O-line/run game and get this offense turned around.

Same thing with Mike Lynch from Bowling Green. Those are my top two guys so far.

Probably the best we could hope for is that Ricker "finds" another job we bring in a "Co-OC" with Henson switching his focus back to the OL and away from play calling.

We should poach Gary Patterson from TCU to be our OC.

Gary Patterson would be a great coach for Mizzou, but I don't see him leaving a cushy job in an easy conference for the murderer's row of the SEC. At least not without a small fortune.

I have serious doubts if a Big 12 style game would even work in the SEC.

Not that Patterson would even come here.

I still want to see how Henson does after an offseason of development for Lock & the young receivers. I think the offense has potential to be special in the next couple seasons.

It was obvious this should have happened after last year, but Pinkle was too stubborn and loyal. WDWWD

Pinkel has done a lot of good for this program but I look forward to the start of the next HC's (*cough*Odom*cough) tenure to just experience how things go when they are done a little differently. I like that Memphis is still performing well so we could bring some of those talented coaches over here when the time calls.

I hope this was sarcasm. Why would Gary Patterson, who has been HEAD coach at TCU for over a decade and built that program from nothing to two top five finishes in the last five years (BTW, is any of this sounding familiar?) leave to become a coordinator anywhere?

Also, Patterson is a defensive coach. After a rough first year in his new conference, he saw that to survive in the B12 he had to adapt offensively to survive and brought in co-OCs (1 from TTU, not sure where the other was), made Boykin the starter at QB, and they've done amazingly offensively since. Their current state on D is frankly killing him, I think. He's no OC, even if he were willing.

How about Sean Lewis from Bowling Green? Guys have been tearing it up and he would probably be an easy get.

Henson is doing what HCGP is telling him to do. Picks a guy who has no OC experience and probably no creativity to change the offense.

If he wants to change things he gets his old buddy Dave Christenson back as OC and let's him bring back the glory days of Missouri offense.

I'm new and rarely post so I was seeing how easy it is to troll. Obviously I was joking. I'll be a good boy now

Christensen didn't leave on bad terms correct? It's funny, because you can take the comments on our board and flip them with comments on the UGA board and it would almost be word for word. Both fans trying to figure out how to get to the next level with coaches whom are well liked but won't make those aggressive changes.

How about this...Sarkisian goes to rehab, comes to Mizzou as the OC. Gets away from the scrutiny of a large program, helps Mizzou win SEC and begins his trek back to being a HC.

He may not even need rehab to fit in here.

My alternative is wait two-three years and bring back Coach Stec as HC.
