Tonight at Buffalo Wild Wings in Columbia, MO the Deputy AD Doug Gillin, and Gary Pinkle talked about the fan support following the conclusion of Arkansas game. Gillin said the SEC gave Mizzou 16,000 tickets, and 12,000 tickets were sold to TSF donors and season ticket holders before any tickets went on sale to the public at 3:00p.m. on Saturday afternoon. The remaining 4,000 tickets have also already sold out, and Gillin suggested looking at secondary market for any additional tickets. fricking Bama didn't get our tickets this year.

Do season ticket holders get the option to buy the shittiest possible tickets like in the Cotton Bowl last year? Sorry. I'm still a little pissed about it.

I hope this is correct. It'll be overwhelmingly Bama regardless. I sincerely hope we didn't make those tickets available to the public like last year. Ranters are saying otherwise. For what that's worth.

Bama easily could have gotten the 4k that were not pre sold.

I'm not sure why we shot them out to the public so quickly. Could have waited a day or two I would think.

I think I need to be in charge of the athletic department. Seriously, why do they need to be sold in 24 hours or whatever? Thats rediculous. My dad is looking into buying tickets right now, could they not have waited until Tuesday at 11:59pm to sell them publicly? I actually dont understand

Yes they could have. Two years in a row we have handed our allotment to the other team for no reason.

Especially considering a lot of people have been traveling due to the holiday. Do we know for sure if we are required to do it this way? It's a real bummer to know that Mizzou fans won't be able to go because bammers got our tickets.

I've been correct about nearly everything this season I've predicted I predict Mizzou gets its first SEC title FYI here is the proof about what Doug Gillin said at Tiger Talk

quote:

Dave Matter ? @Dave_Matter

Per @DougGillin Mizzou sold its allotment of 16,300 tickets for SEC championship game in an hour
7:28 PM - 1 Dec 2014

quote:

The first 12,000 tickets went to season-ticket holders and Tiger Scholarship Fund donors in pre-sales. Rest were sold quickly after that

Im not sure you understand whats being communicated here.

Probably why people laugh at you and in turn laugh at Mizzou in general around here.

Understand exactly what is being communicated, TSF donors, and Mizzou season ticket holders were given a limited window to purchase tickets before the rest went on sale to the public. At minimum we should expect 12,000 Mizzou fans, since Alabama fans ended up scooping up the remaining 4,000 tickets . However, knowing our alumni (see Arkansas game with Razorback fans sitting in Alumni section) they bought the tickets only to quickly resell them above face value most likely to Alabama fans. Our alumni are truly pathetic if this is what happened, and I will have lost what little respect I had remaining for these "fans" of Mizzou.

Don't get pissed off at me for providing factual information. Tickets for Mizzou's 16,000 ticket allotment were priced at $100.00 each. Now using the information tweeted by Dave Matter about TSF donors and season ticket holders getting the first crack at purchasing tickets how do you explain these tickets being priced above the $100.00 price the AD sold them for, and claiming to be in Mizzou allotment section. I'm just pointing out the facts, our season ticket holders and TSF donors bought the tickets, only to resell them above face value, and make extra money off our AD. Sorry for providing facts

Any remaining tickets from the Mizzou allotment after this pre-sale will be made available to the general public beginning at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29, online only at mutigers.com/buytickets. Yes, I do. Your hook is showing though. The best thing our AD could do in the future is make the non- transferable to anyone, and the tickets may only be used by original purchaser.
