1 Week out from the opener, let’s get some predictions flowing in here. I’ll start

vs South Dakota - W

vs Kansas State - L
vs Memphis - W
@ Vandy - W
vs LSU - W
@ UK - L
vs SCjr - L
@ UGA - L
vs UTjr - W

I’ve got us 8-4 with a lot of momentum going into 2024. Should be a fun season baws

11-1

This assumes we play the best QB and can put away top 5 teams we get up on 19-3 in the 4 qtr ...

Assuming QB/OL play isn't upgraded in some fashion, we're gonna lose a lot of close games where defense is gassed by offense continuously going 3 and out ... then 7-5.

It’s highly unlikely but I actually could see a 2013-esque season if everything falls into place. I do think OL will be improved and hopefully Kirby Moore will have some innovative playcalling and we can skate by with mediocre QB play

If Horn wins the job by balling hard, 9 is certainly possible. We have the skill talent for a successful passing attack.

Yours I agree with. We are loaded with talent, and I believe the OL will be fixed. Hell, the tranfer from Michigan State got pushed to second squad.

7-5 and a win in a middling bowl. HOWSUMEVER! If we manage to beat KSU, then everything is on the table.

I have tickets for that KSU game.

Lots of optimism in this thread, it's good to have some more grounded predictions.

I don't feel good about K State. I thought we'd beat them last year and they absolutely steamrolled us. I don't feel confident that the offense will be rolling by week 3 but I'd love to be wrong

Eliminate sloppy TO's and this game is actually 1-2 score loss last year. We're better than we were last year, they are slightly worse, and this is at home. But the biggest difference, an OC. Had we had an OC all season, I think we would have gone 9-3

6-6. I fear the same mistakes will be made at QB which will lead to the demise of Drinkwitz’s job.

Most likely losses, in descending order:
Georgia
Tenn
LSU
Kentucky
KState
SCar
Florida
Arkansas

I see us winning KState and down on the list, probably Kentucky.

I revise my prediction ...

6-7.

Drinkwitz's ego won't let this team achieve greatness.

Offensive scheme is still shite. QB is still shite. And now our kicker has the yips ...

Simple offensive scheme after all it was South Dakota. Only disappointment was the defense not getting SD off the field I. The 2nd half so Horn could play more. If Drink is really giving Horn a chance to prove himself, then Horn will get the start against MTSU.

I get the vanilla scheme against FCS ... but Drinks ego won't let your statement above happen.

Coming off the field after the game, to sideline reporter, he said "Cook 28, Horn 7" ...

He's that petty and stupid.

6-7.

Drinkwitz has spoken glowingly about Cook's leadership on and off the field and overall character.

Drink is in love with Cook. Geniunely wtf is this quote? I need to see a video of it because I find it hard to believe it real

Could you imagine Kiffin, Freeze, Saban or really any SEC coach saying some shite like that?

That said, if he keeps drive alive with his legs, and we get some RB production, this may work with Cook.
