Will he still be able to save his scholarship for those 2 years that he hasn't been able to use or play? How does this work for baseball and/or football?

Damn that sucks for him. Does he get a medical red shirt right?
At this point, he may go fully into baseball. There will be a much steeper QB battle by the time he’s healthy.

Sucks for Horn
We will definitely need to get a backup in the portal. Loosing Garcia and Johnson is really bad now. Even if Horn comes back for the 2025 season he will probably be a backup for a QB from the portal.
He should get in the portal so he can be closer to home

That is a tough break for him and not great news for Missouri. Not end of the world, but y'all will need to pick up a QB in the portal. Trust me, having no one as your backup QB in the SEC is a BAD thing.
