Anyone else think this is going to be a shoot out?

Our secondary against a pass happy offense scares the shite out of me.

Purdue doesn't have much of a defense so we should be able to score points.

First to 50 wins?

No, I have zero optimism right now. I think this team has no sense of itself, coaching is in chaos, and they have a losing mentality. We get behind early and never catch up

Our offense against Purdue isn't going to be as bad as it was against SCAR. It won't be nearly as good as it was against MO St. I'm expecting a game in the 30s.

I'm fully prepared for a Mizzou loss. Purdue will need to run 4-5 jet sweeps and that should do it.

I have always been positive BUT this team has lost me. Prepare for us to get our shite pushed in and embarrassed. Purdue is on the upswing and we are teetering at precipice of an Abyss. Only good news is if we are embarrassed enough we can get a new regime sooner.

Guys, cmon, we are not losing to Purdue. I think we win but it is still a negative because it's very close.

Purdue 38
Mizzou 35

The temp on Odom's seat goes up another notch.

I'm kinda where heysus was on KA.

I'm afraid BO manages to pull out just enough wins to keep his job

You know that"s exactly whats going to happen. we will end the season with a big win AT Arkansas which buys him 1 more year.

Amazing how negative some of you are. Mizzou will be more patient with Barry because he is a new head coach; which they knew when they hired him. Mizzou will be fine with Coach Odom; it is ONLY 2 games into his 2nd season. And..., it is not like he inherited a top-half SEC roster..., because he did not.

"They" left. The people who hired him are gone.

Sterk isn't going to put up with this BS another year IMO. The stadium has a great potential to look embarrassingly empty by mid season. He had no allegiance to Barry.

Seriously. Can the BO supporters point to anything he's done well since coming aboard?

BO did not inheret anything. He was the DC before wanting to be HC. If there were defeciencies with the defense before he was hired, then those were partly his fault. Quit treating him like he was an outsider. Continuity was supposed to be the advantage to hiring him. He knew the team and culture, then he tore it down and doesnt have the skills or experience to rebuild it.

That was a common misconception, everyone that really had paid attention to BO, knew he was going to be his own self. He wasn't trying to continue to the GP program.

Mizzou should win this game which is why I will be expecting the usual kick in the groin in the 2nd half.

Then he should have taken the Memphis job. With no experience, no recruiting chops and no relationship with Kul, he thought the SEC would what...provide a wet nurse while he figures it out?

I really thought (and posted) how I thought BO would pull it together. But in reality, recruiting is actually down, coaches fighting players (Shipp), coaches infighting (Cross), and the on field product is a mess. What is there to hang our hats on?

His own self?

What he's brought isn't working. End of story.
Unless you like confusion on and off the field, infighting, firing, and players quitting, oh and unorganized piss poor playing on all sides of the ball.

He's done absolutely nothing but take this team another notch or two backwards.

Excuses and spin no longer work.

Not after KA

I don't think just a win at Arky keeps his job. He's going to have to go 4-4 in the SEC, 3-5 at a minimum and I think it will take some good breaks to get to 2-6. He could easily go 1-7 or 0-8 which is definitely buhbye.

No. I don't think so. I think we lose outright. The offense underwhelms again. The defense plays somewhere between what they did against MoSt and SC.

He just has to make a bowl and guaranteed he comes back. 5-7 and he probably still gets one more year.
