Well halfway thru time to take the time machine back:

quote:

4&8 35% likelihoood
5&7 60%
6&6 50%
7&5 35%
8&4 15%

These odds are based on what on its face would be a very winnable/easy schedule.

These odds were placed during the BOback mountain fog hysteria where some were predicting 8, 9 and a few 10 wins. Of course my odds were shunned.

As of today, I would have to say I was way over optimistic. I knew BO was unqualified and in over his head but failed to appreciate his ability to spiral down the program to joke status so rapidly.

Along with his predicted crippling recruiting the program simply cannot afford a 3rd year of his debilitating leadership. The program is nearing life support status and to add another year of malpractice to continue may very well make the "patient' near impossible to resuscitate.

I said 8-4 should have been manageable. And it should have been let's be honest.

Barry stinks and hence forth will be known as BO. As in Body Odor.

I wrote that I wished I was as optimistic as some on here and predicted 5-7.

I sat on the fence at 6.5 wins. Too much Barrie kool-aid plus I didn't know it was a "turnaround" until the 4th game.

I figured 7-5. How anyone thinks he deserves another year is beyond me.

He general consensus among national analyst was that Mizzou would win somewhere between 5-7 games this year.

If Mizzou finishes in that range he will be back.

Well no one on the remaining schedule is scary, not even remotely scary BUT our D needs to make more than 2 stops a game for us to even remotely have success. Yes I'm a homer but 5-1 is possible with the 2 toughest games (FL & TN) being home games (not like that has made a difference so far). Anyway my .02.

Not going to lie, I was all in on our offense. I remember saying Drew Lock puts up 4,000 yds this season and we beat Auburn.

I just knew the defense would be top 40 in terms of efficiency this year.

I was all the way off going into this season and I normally look at myself as a realist recognizing our team limitations.

Me too. I thought we would be 8-4 or maybe 9-3. Not this year though. Still got some house cleaning to do. Graduation this year should help!

With this schedule even the 2015 team would have won 8 games
