I dont have access, but was wondering if anyone on here did. PM posted about 13 players in the transfer portal that Mizzou should target for basketball. I am curious as to who they think CM should go after.

Yeah I’ll even admit I could have used a different choice of words on that one.

All-name team.

There’s a guard in the portal who has some good potential but plays a little out of control. Xavier Pinson.

I was listening to Matter on the radio and he bagged on Pinson from beyond the arc (called Mark Smith a streaky shooter even though he shot 31.5 percent which is lower than pinson. That’s not streaky anymore Dave that’s just bad.) but now I’m sure Dave will pump this new transfer even though he was 28 percent beyond the arc. And his assist to turnover ratio was marginally better than pinson’s. I really just don’t get it.

The same reasons we aren’t “interested” in Fletcher. He’s not coming here, ergo we aren’t interested.

Some people are more prone to believe a narrative when it’s not warranted. And other people are more prone to be critical even when it’s not warranted.

You need both, I guess.

The media thinks it's another guard. There will most likely be a few more that will leave. We COULD lose Wilmore, Chang, maybe Braun and Watson.

Matter did say on the radio that Cuonzo always planned to redshirt Chang basically (obviously couldn’t actually red shirt more of a concept). So you’d think Chang would be on the same page. Hopefully Braun loves Mizzou too much to leave. Wilmore was definitely out of shape. I don’t blame Cuonzo for not playing him. Hope he stays though we’ll need him next year. I’d probably put money on Watson being gone. However you’d think these players would want to get their name in there at this point before teams start filling up.

Personally I think we need another big. Unless Cuonzo really thinks Keita is instant impact.

I agree. Even if Keita is an instant impact, we need another big.

Keita is not an instant big, and unfortunately we’re loaded at the 5 with a bunch of “in a few years” bigs.

Wilmore is a “never” big.

Braun can maybe be better than a role player. Maybe, but he needs to get a lot stronger. That’s if he even stays of course.

Keita is pretty athletic. He can probably be a defender and rebounder right out of the gate.

The team won’t be anything close to good if they only add one more piece. No matter who it is

Kieta will struggle, he’s always out of place and hes bad outside of his spots. Luckily those can be taught But since he’s so new to basketball idk how long it will take
