Serious question... Has Missouri surpassed Nebraska as a football program / destination for kids?
I say yes. Their fans carry on like it's still the good ol' days, but the head is dead.
We're beating them head-to-head on recruits and on the W-L ledger.

Well, they're 2-3 so far. Got rid of Bo F*ckhead who won lots of games, but crapped the bed during big ones.
New coach is clearly wondering WTF?? (as are the fans)
NE doesn't get the running backs like they used to, and most think their run as annual threats to be NCs is over. Recruiting has become much more difficult for them. "Wow, dad!! Nebraska wants me!"...isn't said as often as it once was, that's for sure.

Part of their downfall has to do with the success of surrounding teams. They can no longer pluck the entire Midwest. Mizzou, KSU, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Mich, Mich St... Are currently equal to or greater football brands. They do a good job, but can't out talent anyone.

They have no where to recruit anymore. The big10 move will kill that program. No one outside the big ten footprint is going to want to play in the cold weather all season.
They are stuck competing with everyone else in the big 10 for the Ohio and Pennsylvania recruits.

I'm all for pouring hatred on Corn, but let's not get carried away. They do out-recruit Mizzou on class rankings since Genesis...including last year's K.C. Davis twins.
Most of their 2016 recruits are NOT in the Big10 footprint including a pair of 4 star recruits from California
I still wish them nothing but ill...but let's not ignore recruiting facts when poking them with a stick.
Sidenote: I am enjoying the Cow trainwreck immensely. TCU did all kinds of disgusting things to them on Saturday, repeatedly. I'm basking in Schadenfreude.
