Thought you all would get a kick out of this. It's beautiful to watch these beakers squirm. Sad watching them try and latch onto Missouri's value to make them attractive to the B1G.

beakers panicking

quote:

Missouri will be let out of its SEC contract and OSU will be brought in at the same time as Texas and OU. It's a straight swap at best but athleticly, a net positive for the SEC. This will be done to quiet the politicians in Oklahoma City. Missouri and KU to the B1G. B1G owns the KC and St Louis markets. SEC owns the Texas and Oklahoma market.

Delusional bunch over there eh? Like we’re going to leave the most powerful football conference ever to become junior members of the B1G for several years before we finally become full members, still making significantly less than we are in the SEC

Really amazing how they can insult us, AND expect us to be their dance partner. Delusional.

If Mizzou could get a massive buyout to join the Big 10 I don't see anything wrong with it. The Big 10 would fit us better tbh and we would be the top two teams in our region with a chance to be in the championship each year.

I'll downvote myself now.

They cant wrap their heads around the fact the B1G network is already in KC and St Louis because of bordering Illinois and Iowa. I understand it doesnt generate as much as it would should Missouri become part of the B1G footprint, however, the gains are not as much they would be bringing in fresh markets.

I did see one posted something about being in a pod with Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, and Kansas. Which was a neat thought of having several close by games...

And as another said, some of them recognized Missouri isn't going to move for junior membership. Which is like five years?
