One sided rivalry factor

I don't want to be the unicorns and rainbows guy, but we can't forget that MSU really hates Mizzou, and Mizzou doesn't realize it. The efforts were lop sided. Anyone who has played or coached knows this can make a difference even among vastly different talent levels. Just a thought.

Why would they hate Mizzou? I honestly don't know anything about that and never heard of it. It wasn't even long ago that MSU was Southwest Missouri State and nobody outside of Missouri even knew who they were. They aren't even FBS.

MO St Alum and never has hated Mizzou. There was some hard feelings on Mizzou blocking State tag for a few years but never saw hate.

Agree, but it will be better. It's kinda dumb to try and project how good a defense will be from the first half of the first game no matter who the opponent is.
I bet the Aggies thought their defense was swell after the first half.

Don't know if they hate MU, but they hold a grudge. Get indignant that MU won't schedule them in B-ball every year, much like the SLU folks in the STL. Got indignant that MU fought against their name change.

Mizzou should play the Bears in BBall, would be a fun series. Though MO ST is a shell of what they once were in roundball.

From the moment I moved to Springfield from Columbia with a wife working for SWMS it was clear there was an animosity here that we were unaware of in Columbia. Baseball, hoops, now football... They want to beat Mizzou so badly. It's real.

Every school in Missouri hates Mizzou because they're jealous of the tFlagship school. I went down to Rolla to visit my friend from high school who went to Missouri S&T and those people fricking hated me walking around with my Mizzou shirt. I honestly didn't realize they hated us but they do.

I go to Missouri s&T and wear Mizzou shirts and hoodies all the time. Never has anyone said anything about it. You were probably walking near the sig ep frat, those guys suck arse at all the sports they compete in yet are still douchebags
