I'm not saying a QB switch will cure what ails us, because the issues go far beyond that.

However, is this not the time where you HAVE to do it?

I don't care if it cures us. This team isn't doing anything this year so play for next year. That means start Lock now.

It was a team loss....D didn't do there jobs.....special teams (other than punting) didn't do their jobs...offense didn't do their jobs

I'm gonna guess you're friends with Mauk?

Honestly, I agree.

At this point though. We need something to change. The offense is a bag of assholes. Give it a shot and see what happens. Mauk is putrid. He just is.

I don't disagree but if the playmakers don't make plays it doesn't matter who the QB is

Have you ever thrown a ball and then caught it? Neither have I

Exactly, what reasons are there to continue with Mauk instead of Lock? I can't think of any. Lock could lose us just as many games as Mauk will, but he is the future and has a much higher ceiling than Mauk, who has hit his. Mauk underthrew receivers all night, Lock had one bad one as well but hit several over the middle that Mauk never has this season. We need a change and have nothing to lose in making it.

Dude look at the stats for Mauk and Lock and tell me you don't see a HUGE discrepancy.

Lock hits open receivers in the fricking face mask or he puts it in a window.

Mauk hits dudes in the ankles and 3 feet over their heads.

Lock has a better YPA, Completion %, QBR

Palmer and Mushmouth both came in their pants when Lock was on the field.

Again, I agree but what else do you do? We don't hve a running game until RH get healthy, and that may never happen. You can't swap out the entire OL. You can't swap out the entire WR corps.

You can change the QB though. We just lost to Kentucky, frick it. Let's get the rebuild a head start! AND, in the meantime it may even get better. It certainly can't get worse.

Meh. I was bashing Mauk. Lock is our future. This team isn't doing anything for multiple reasons, including but not limited to Mauk. So play for the future. Start Lock here on out.

Here's the thing: if Lock makes the TD pass....he plays a lot more tonight...this isn't the first ball he's under thrown.

FTR I don't care who the QB as long as we win but unless we can do the other things like run the ball he doesn't matter

You're missing the point. You're thinking like we're talking about a change in order to win the east this year. We're not. Lock is the future. Give him the experience now.

You're right I'm not ready to give up the East right now.

I like Lock but he makes bad decisions too.

See I disagree, I think part of the reason we can't run the ball is because no one is scared of our passing attack. People are keying on the run and Mauk. They drop some guys deep because that's the only other play Mauk has.

When Lock comes in the game the sticks move through the air. If Lock can figure out the red zone issue he will be golden, the only way that will happen is with game experience.

Lock has driven into scoring position on all but 1 drive that was a WR tip INT. You realize that right?
