Wow Mizzou has maybe 2 guys that athletically are on the level of the Kentucky guys. Walton & Gant.

I'm not completely unrealistic. By no means did I expect to go to UK and win. But that was humiliating. This team can't play defense. Can't rebound. Can't move on offense. They stand or jog through the offense on most trips. They can't handle the ball. They absolutely cannot shoot. Their basketball IQ is about a zero.
There is no way that anyone can give KA a higher grade than an F for the job done so far. Hopefully he can change things but I haven't seen basketball that bad since the first CYC team my son played on.

I think I can see what KA wants to do. But it will never happen with bringing in better players. The talent discrepancy is just huge. Mizzou doesn't have a guy that is capable of going out and getting theirs.
If KA can bring in a couple of those this offseason he may save his job. If he gets to next season.

Sure I can. We need more talent to do it though. Taking TI & Allen instead of some capable JUCO players is really hurting. And not retaining J3/MGC.

I have to agree with 808.
You can't see what KA is trying to do because KA has no idea himself what he is trying to do. Like it or not, he's in way over his head. Love the guy. Love that he bleeds black and gold. But we are way beyond the bullshite program building excuses and way beyond the it's all Haith's fault excuses. Short of a miraculous turn around to the season, the coaching carousel excuse doesn't fly either.
I've tried to be patient this year. I couldn't help myself on occasion but I've tried to give him a chance to get this season turned around. But we are the laughing stock of college basketball. Even worse than that is the pity espoused. frick pity. Get a new coach in here who will bring in players, an offense and actually coach the players up.

I would try to be nice and put a positive spin on this for you guys... but well... He will be gone after this season though. That is what is important.

I'll start off by saying that I know less than squat about hoops as far as X's and O's go. I was a wrestler from a young age, so I never have played the game. Being a tiger fan though, I've always at least "watched" a majority of televised Mizzou games, and have a pretty good grasp of how the game is supposed to look. I hadn't watched a game at all last season, or this season until last night. WTF is all I have to say. I can watch a better collection of "ballers" running up and down a court and throwing balls at a rim and chain net at the E. Miller St. park in Jeff City.
I only made it until half time. I've had my fill for another year and a half.
