What has anybocy heard about Howland besides some media rumors that he's a 'leading" candidate.

There has been nothing anywhere. It would be the most quite hire in history, and why? He wants the job and is unemployed.

So I will drink the kool aid and say

50.1% Marshall
5% Howland
44.9% Swift kick in the nuts

Make it 8(9) for Marshall and 4 for Howland.

If Marshall wants to come, he'll be here. We have clearly put the ball in his court and met what we think are his demands. Does he really want to leave or is he just window shopping. Should know soon.

Marshall, but I'd be almost as excited for Howland. Love both choices.

I don't get how we can hire Howland.

The basketball program, and the athletic department as a whole is in the midst of a clean up process.

I just can't see hiring someone with a controversial past like Howland.

I vote Marshall.

I think he does want to leave, but in 10 months, not right now.

That said, I'm still thinking he'll end up doing it now, but with some reluctance.

The fact that it's gone so quiet makes me think I should change my vote.

It's only been an hour.
And the 9 PM deadline was a little squishier. Still. You'd think a final decision needs be had at least 12 hours before BOC meets.

I believe it will be Howland. Marshall won't leave Wichita State without stupid money, and Mizzou just can't be quite that stupid, despite the future SEC Network cash flow.

Howland is a big splash hire and a guy (without ANY NCAA baggage) who has won, will be reasonable on salary and wants redemption.
