Your take was spot on.

quote:

He's asking everyone for more time and then he'll conquer the problems: The words of a defeated man

He's mere months away from being a defensive coach at another school. "We thank Barry for his time here and wish him well in his future endeavors."

Odom clearly let the wrong secondary coach get out of town. Stidham's rating for the game last night was 203. He won't approach that in any other conference game.

Brown's unit on the other hand made their run fits and tackled well.

He's defensive and whiny. Message boards and social media should be the least of his worries. He had no problem firing his DC in week 2 in spite of a "turn-around". Hopefully the 3rd string left tackle @ Rock Bridge hasn't already committed to a school, because that's the kind of recruiting class you're looking at if something isn't done,

Interesting quote. "There was no one else left standing after 2015. I am."

He's certainly right about a lot of the things he said! Pinkel had bad teams his 1st 3 years!

Good lord I am sick of hearing this. What BO was handed is light years ahead of what GP was handed. Yet BO has put the program light years behind what GP gave him. Beyond that, if GP caught some hell, good. He should have. Poor performance SHOULD bring criticism. BO has his chance. Go out and show improvement or be gone.

I just can't figure out why he can't get his team to care.not enough of them anyway.

Because he's not head coach material might be an answer. He could be passionate as hell...bleed black and gold...but if he ain't cut out to be a HC, then he ain't cut out.

I hope he's wrong and we win out but I doubt it.

I'm really wondering if this team might play better on the road. Faurot is just a toxic waste dump of negativity at this point. I think it may be good for them to get away.

I'm still rooting for BO even if I realize it's highly unlikely this works out. I like him. Well except for 3 hours every Saturday.
