I think KA was actually a good coach. Our offense was way better than under Haith (aka high pick and let Jordan Clarkson/Jabari Brown try to score) and all the post players KA had improved under his coaching. Deserved to be fired, but still a solid coach imo

KA is a good coach, just no a good D1 coach. His offenses were not better than Haith's. It could have been except he wasn't able to recruit players that could run what he wanted.

Haith's offense was brutal to watch. It was just a high pick and roll. There was nothing to it.

He did well with Post and Rosburg eventually in the sense that they went from borderline useless to more or less competent (or in Rosburg's case, pretty effective by the very end). But few other players developed.

His offense looked decent when he finally got players to move the ball quickly, but our shooting was horrendous. The poor shooting isn't just a recruiting issue. That's also coaching. And the many times when the ball wouldn't move well is also coaching.

My take on his ability as a coach is that he knows what players should do but is pretty poor at getting them to do it.

I agree, and how anyone now can make the claim that Kim is a good coach is beyond me.
