Had previous time in the Mizzou AD. Also currently overseeing a $220 million upgrade of the Memphis stadium.

Soon as I heard he was coming from Memphis I thought this is a Laurie-Walton hire.
Just like with Odom and Kerrick Jackson the Laurie-Walton family have a hand in who is hired.
They control almost all of Memphis sports and now they are bringing their people to Mizzou.
It’s not necessarily a bad thing it gives us a lot more money.
They have a home outside Las Vegas. UNLV has been getting anonymous donations since 2014 and not just from the Raiders. Their man Odom is the coach now

A solid hire on the surface. Memphis has done more with less than most schools out there. The Tigers, bless them, are maybe the third most popular college team in Memphis. But they've built a fairly good sports system there.
