I will be utterly shocked.

Yea Fisher is 10 years older than KA, and has SDSU playing pretty well. Made 6 of the last 7 NCAA's.
Doubt he wants to try rebuilding Mizzou.
One name to watch is Sampson. He had coaches as WSU. Not during Sterk's time. But Sterk did consult him and others before hiring Benett.

Lol. Fisher is firmly planted at SDSU. He's way too old to uproot now, plus Aztec basketball is light years ahead of MU basketball.

Not happening.

I was thinking we would need a solid coach to put the program back on the map, then when he retires, all this mess is forgotten and we go for the big hire. Despite our problems, Mizzou would be a step up for Fisher if Anderson is fired, and he gets us from dumpster fire to respectable.

Its a question of the Benjamins for Fisher. Yes, his team is doing just fine now. That is all well and good.

500 grand a year extra when you are at the point you want to think about retirement? That is pretty hard to turn down.

Lets say you go to Missouri. You make an extra million and rebuild Mizzou into a solid basketball team. Your legacy, done. Your retirement, done.

Again. Delusional.

Fisher isn't leaving.

He's old as frick and has become a fixture in San Diego. Meaning, he can retire here and enjoy life.

He's not coming to como. That ship isn't getting underway.

Fisher is 71. So that's a non starter. Sterk has a good hoops rep though, so he should be able to make a good hire.
