Getting the end zone project done will be good for the FB team but I would like to see a project materialize for a new sports performance lab.
MU is never going to recruit like a blue blood but biochemical/mechanical analysis of the athletes would help provide the entire athletic department with data to maximize the performance of every athlete in every program.
Understanding how each athlete responds to and recovers from the varying stresses endured every week would allow for the staff to be able to ensure that when it is time to compete, the athletes are technically and physically at their peak.
