He is the 2nd ranked juco player.

Call him jelly - Gates is on a roll.

Filler, but we need those. Like Drink, the man is moving and shaking. Like Drink, we will see what happens.

And like Drink, I’m willing to give a longer leash than their predecessor if they recruit well considering it’s basically like building a brand new program with what they took over.

Seems like it would lead to a lot of flagrant fouls, but it could come in handy against kU next season

Would like Brazile back but wouldn’t mind blowing the whole thing up and disinviting everyone on this years roster. Don’t want any stench from the last 2 decades rubbing off on the team moving forward

Looks like we’re after Patrick Baldwin Jr., Gholston’s teammate. Might be hiring a dad as an assistant coach again.

Easier than NIL.

Is there any law against laundering AD money through an advertising firm or whatever to get to the athletes?

Would be tricky, but also seems easy.

Booster boss in wait and see mode. Outside money might be hard to come by the first year.

My thought is that if the kid doesn't want to be here, don't beg and chase him. Let him go. If he wanted to be at Mizzou, he wouldn't have jumped into the portal. Bye bye and good luck to him.

That's not Gholston, that's Sean East who people thought we were getting since he was in town over the weekend.

I wouldn't take offense as the school to a kid hitting the portal after a new coach is hired, especially basketball players as they need to see how their skills translate to the incoming system.

Xavier Pinson posted that he's "highly considering" returning to Mizzou on Instagram. I'd be in favor of it, always liked watching him play

Could be the first player to quit on a school twice

I think you have to think about why he was leaving...as many have said before, "people don't leave jobs, they leave managers". Maybe that is the case here? To me he is definitely worth a look after watching a team with zero ball handlers for the past year.
