I didn’t like the shot either. He got lucky.

Alright, Gonzo ball is still Gonzo ball.

Looking ahead at the schedule they should be 10-2 by the time they play Illinois.

Wins a win.

Phillips nailed a clutch 2 at the end there and Barnett sealed it at the line.

Road streak broken, even with Jontay being mostly MIA.

Good win.

First road win in 3 years.

Phillips comes through clutch.

Good win. Great games by Tilmon, Robertson, Barnett and Phillips.

Phillips should be our starting PG. I'm not saying he's the greatest around but he's better than Geist and we need to give Harris time to mature.

Agree 100%.

He is still a little soft with the ball for my liking, but right now he is our best option.

Let Harris ease his way in.

Stop it with Geist.

I don’t like the mental mistake by Tilman, but he made up for it with a key block.

This changes game to game. We’ve had games this year where Phillips was the best of the 3, and games that Geist played really well and games that it was Harris.

Phillips is a more mature leader than Geist. Geist provides no leadership.

Geist hasn't had a good game yet. He had a game where he scored. Oh and then almost single handedly gave it away.

Harris will have ups and down. He's young.

The rotation should be Phillips, Harris with Geist getting 5 minutes a game or so to give the others a blow. Split the other 35 however you want between Phillips and Harris depending on how they're playing.

Could you imagine junior year Phil Pressey playing with this team? Would be sick.

Adding Courtney Ramey next year would be nice.

It’s not that hard to imagine, Phil was on way better teams here. Peeps like u and 808 gave him trouble. Kid was awesome and got shite all day long.

Only 9 turnovers, definitely improvement. Can't say I'm surprised we scored low with that red wood in the paint.

Really surprised by Jontay having 0 points though, he looked out of it all game.

It still boggles the mind that Kim didn't somehow run into a road win the entire time he was here...I was about as big a Kim apologist as there was on this board, but goodness gracious that's hard to do.

This is spot on. HCCM is going with the "hot hand" at PG. Whichever guard is getting the offense flowing and not turning the ball over is getting the minutes. For most of the game against WVU it was Geist. But in the final 6 minutes, none of them could deliver.

Harris is young and not quite strong enough physically to handle intense pressure. He will be a stud by his junior year.

Geist is active and brings a certain intensity. However, he is erratic and is proned to getting out of control. When he plays under control he's pretty decent.

Phillips is erratic as well. He can get out of control as well, but has a pretty good BB IQ. He doesn't take care of the ball well at times, but hits big shots. He has a tremendous attitude.

College basketball officiating has ALWAYS been hard to watch,,,,especially when you play on the road. This was and is a good win for these young tigers,,,as any true road game is. If Barnett and Robertson play like this all season, they will be a very competitive team. My two cents on the point guard: should be Phillips as the main guy while bringing along and developing Harris...geist is just to damn unpredictable IMO.. So much fun to see actual talent on the court again...

Ha, your the worst. Phil was the shiz. Notice my 4 in the morning post. Think I'm still under the weather. Nobody cares about your jock at all. Negativity is a pain in the arse to follow though when you want to chat about your team.

What the frick are you talking about? I just gave him props.

I gave him trouble for the way he played his senior year (thus why I said junior Pressey). If you think he had a better senior year than junior year, you're crazy.
