ITT, I learned a group of people can agree it is a good idea to not participate in football activities like a game. Interesting.

It's real simple. I look to football - in particular Mizzou football - as a diversion from the serious shite in my life, including all things political. I don't have a problem with players speaking their minds on issues that I disagree with. But when they take a position I disagree with AND hold the University hostage unless their demands are met and my alma mater gives in to the irrational demands, I cannot continue to pretend to support my school, or the team that did this to my school. I would go a step further to say whether or not I agreed with their team stand on an issue, I do not agree with their "strike" unless demands are met.
