I normally don't speak on stuff like this but glad Mack left...we are a different breed in Como. It's family first he lacked that mentality

Didn't like the hire to begin with. No loss.... Baylor, he'll fit right in.

So do we go a year without an AD now? This is fricked up. Any facilities plans...well you can put them on hold for a year I'm sure. Or do you think the interim leaders will appoint a new AD?

We wont go near that long without a AD. Interim leaders will appoint one if necessary. Hell, one of those interim chancellors may end up being the guy.

Like I said, the only thing I can see as bad about this was the timing (but Odom fricking killed it at media day so that wasn't a big deal) and where he went which the media will spin as bad for Mizzou. Again though, that wont even be a story in a week.

Its just not that big a deal, and we'll be better off in the long run because Rhoades was going to frick up the facilities BAD. A major misstep that would have taken years to recover from.

I think it will be next spring before the new AD is hired.

President and chancellor will be hired first.

@SECNetwork are things that bad at Missouri right now, that Baylor is a better option? Seems like leaving the Titanic for the Hindenburg.

@SECNetwork @MrBuddyGarrity How bad must it be at Mizzou?

For those throwing out Gary Pinkel as AD, I don’t see it. Worked so hard for so long as HC. Wants more time w/family now dealing w/sickness

I don't see how Baylor is any better of a position, but whatever.

Speaking just as an outsider here but Rhoades never seemed a good fit for Missouri. When the women's softball team is mentioning you as AD, much less calling you a complete arsehole, then something has gone horribly wrong.

Hopefully y'all will take your time and find a good replacement. Mizzou is a sweet job for the right AD. The new guy will have plenty of money to play with and a chance to expand the facilities.

Rhodes calling card was his fund raising abilities for facilities at Houston. Instead he gets buffaloed like everyone else in the CS1950 crap and runs before the old boy posse can find a reason to throw a rope around his neck.

Is there anyone left who had a hand in it (besides players)? I think he was the last.

Can't blame him after all the shite that's happened.

Why? He was paid a lot of fricking money to fix what needed fixing. He ran off like a baby.

Good for him and better for us.

He was not a good fit here and I doubt it has any affect on players and recruiting. HS kids don't care or know about the AD.

It will have more effect on u of houston when tom herman ditches them for baylor next season.
