I was on the fence, but that guys gonna want to coach next year.

Good defensive mind, can recruit the south and Texas.

He'd be a great piece to go along with Heupel, plus we've got a replacement for Odom if it goes to shite again next year.

You actually think BO is bringing in a DC with more HC experience than him?

Odom has a healthy ego. If he's successful, it won't kill him. He's not hiring Strong. Which doesn't matter because Strong wouldn't accept.

I think it's really clear after that game, there is real talent on the defensive side, but not well coached.

I wouldn't complain about that hire.

But the guy I'd like to see a DC is Jim Leavitt. What he's done at Colorado in two yrs (and '93-5 at KSU) truly remarkable. Might be an even longer shot for him to take a lateral, although we could easily double his $500,000 salary to return to his alma mater.

Colorado seems like they might be up to big things again.

They'd be dumb to let him leave.

We're not gonna get a DC that's having success currently, we need to find a guy that's failed as a head coach but has a proven track record at DC.

Sounds dumb from the failure standpoint, but from a view of the overall game it would be huge for a young coach like wiBO.

Agreed, but a man can dream.

...and dream he will.

I'm on board. But don't think Odom will pull the trigger.

I'd like to see that too, but I don't see BO even considering it
