While we're all glad to see the Kimbo years put mercifully to sleep, it begs the question (if anyone cares) what he will do now? I've thought of several possibilities. Where do you guess his future lies? Maybe:

Head coach somewhere? (who'd hire him?)

Assistant Coach somewhere? (ibid)

Celebrity Boxing? (He could whip Danny Partridge and Greg Brady)

Prison ministry?

Car sales at University Chrysler?

Or simply complete retirement with the Columbia Trib's Sudoku and Crossword?

What think you?

He will be a head coach somewhere. I have heard his name mentioned at Austin Peay. Which is where Dave Loos just retired from.

If not there he will get a D2 job.

Pitt State from Power Mizzou board. D-2 board is quiet on the matter. Which is surprising

That might be a good landing spot for him. He's not a big time coach, but you can say that for a lot of coaches. A small school with no pressure and he probably does just fine.

If I was him, I'd just retire and take it easy, but I'm not him.

He probably doesn't want to go out a loser

Yeah you're probably right. I'm sure it sticks in his craw. He will most likely resurface somewhere, and I wish him good luck!

He'll coach again. Where? Who knows. Hope he can land another D1 gig at a small program and have a bit of success at the D1 level.

His name has been linked to a D2 school(Pitt St.) and it's getting hot that it might come true.

If he goes to Pitt State KA(Mizzou Grade) biggest rivalry will be MSSU which is coached by Jeff Boschee(KU Grade). That could make the rivalry even better.

My kids in the same daycare class as Boschee's girl. When I see him I tell he needs at hat like mine.
