Im gonna be in KC march 21st-23rd. I will be staying downtown somewhere, I got two questions.

1) for a 24 year old whats better P&L or Westport (ive been to P&L)

2) My favorite soccer team plays at 745 sat morning, any good early soccer bars?

**note** I like getting hammered.

Thanks XOXO

I am not the guy to ask, but I would prefer P&L over Westport, but I am too old for either. I have about 14 years on you.

Check the Waldo area for the soccer stuff. I think there is a soccer bar down there somewhere.

After typing this I realize I am pretty much no help at all but there is no turning back now. Have fun in KC.

If you're staying downtown, then P&L is probably a better option. Westport used to be a good time, but I think it's gotten pretty rough down there lately. At least it was there for a while. They may have cleaned it up. But I haven't hung out down there since before P&L even existed, so I really don't know what it's like now.

1) I frequent both. I guess I don't really have a strong preference for one over the other. PnL is more condensed whereas Westport is a little more walking, but not much. Westport gets a bad rap I think because some people think it's not safe, but I've never felt unsafe there or seen any shady people. There's no real right answer, everyone has their own preference, however I associate "getting hammered" more with PnL.

2) I should know more about that scene than I do...I played forever. My best suggestion would be to try Johnny's Tavern right across from sprint center. They're partners with sporting KC and hold a lot of watch parties there.

Have fun!

I was escorting a girl's dance team through Wesport last year along with a couple other parents and the police literally stopped us and asked us not to go any further on that street. We informed them we were walking to the Hilton and they said to call them when we were done at the restaurant and they would escort us back. Then they had to run break up a fight of about 6-8 yutes which had broken out 30 feet away from us.

It was a good time.

I had to google what a yute was.

I'm impressed how hip you are 808!

I'd like to assuming taxis aren't rare and expensive like STL.

Use Uber or Lyft. Perfect for going from PnL district to Westport and vice versa
