That’s was his 3rd season. Why hadn’t he recruited some players by then?

No, he didn’t “have nothing”

Muschamp signed 23 4/5* players on the offensive side of the ball in 4 classes. That’s way more talent than we’ll ever get here.

Clown shoes dude. I know you’re in love with McElwain but let’s try to base this on at least some sort of reality here

WTodd Thanks for the comments, but it is Florida where hangnails get major.

The Credit Card scam was with players and when asked about if McElwain knew about the criminal conduct he said,"

When asked about the potential charges affecting the players’ status with the team, coach Jim McElwain said: “You’re darn right.”

So he basicly did not defend the players for this conduct.

I feel like we need to go more for someone moving up, something more of an unkown live wire. Sure, it may end up poorly, but it may end up great. Like Pinkel, but hopefully even better. I feel like known quantities, like McElwain, are not good for Mizzou.

Correct. Sterk spent a lot of his time at the firing presser talking about “lost momentum”. Surely, there is no way in the world that he thinks this type of hire regains any of that. It’s just not possible to be that tone deaf.

JesusQ you know I thought Sterk said Pinkel was making the pick, I guess I was wrong, but I am at the point I think Pinkel would be better than Sterk, give Pinkel the go ahead.

Things are starting to get sorted out, McElwain is merging as a top choice of Fresno State.

The only pick Pinkel makes these days is the choice between Coconuts or Jolly Rogers for lunch in the Gravios Arm.
