Obviously is wouldn't matter if Mizzou wins the SECCG.

However if we 3 peat and don't win the SECCG is it all for not if we don't beat UGA and they have one more conference loss than us?

Going 7-1 with a loss in Athens wouldn't chap my arse at all. Screw the haters, there's rarely an undefeated division champ, and having the 1 loss to a top 10 team isn't a deal breaker.

You listen to the haters too much. I guess last year just didn't happen???

Cruise, right on. 7-1 is one I'll take to the bank.

By winning the East and keeping them out of Atlanta, you STILL beat Georgia, without beating Georgia.

And on top of it all, it really pisses them off

I don't care how we get there. UGA can do what they do best and choke one out again.

7-1 is fine by me, hell 6-2 is fine by me. Just get there and make it competitive and hopefully win and screw everything up!

No... But we need to win the SEC Championship Game. Otherwise the narrative remains the same, Division Championships don't mean much in the national perspective.

It won't get us in the CFP or one of its bowls where we need to be in order to fight off this "disrespect".

It really bothers me that Baylor is considered a top 10 program when we are miles ahead of them from a program perspective.

It's far from meaningless. That's just haters talking. Even if we went 8-0, won the seccg but lost in the national title game, the haters would still claim being a national runner up is meaningless when each and everyone of them would give their left nut just to be in the game.

Baylor may be ranked in the Top 10, but they're not considered a Top 10 program.

I agree with all above that I'll take another East Championship any way we can get it.

However, I would like Mizzou to be the East Champs and the undisputed best team in the East.

Last year is debatable on whether Mizzou or UGA was the best team in the East. On Oct. 11, 2014 UGA was clearly the better team. Who knows what would of happened if we played them again in November.

Only way to get what you're looking for is to go 8-0 in conference, otherwise there will always be at least one other team out there claiming to be better.

Bottom line is if UGA were a better team last YEAR, they would have played in the SECCG. They weren't and they didn't. They were a better team for a DAY. Congrats. Hope they continue to enjoy watching the SECCG from the comfort of their beat up Lazy Boy.

True. Funny how we didn't get the same flack from SC fans after the 2013 season.
