Former AB exec Micheal Owens

LINK

I like it. He's a Mizzou guy (normally I wouldn't put that much importance on this, but I do now). He has very high level marketing, promotion and sales experience. An ADs biggest job is fundraising imo, and seemingly he'd be great at it.

I still want Sundvold, but this guy is also a very good candidate.

I don't know that Sundvold is going to jump, he's got a pretty good thing going. Owens has the ties to the community and high level business knowledge but with potential coaching changes looming on the horizon does he have the experience in sports to make a good selection?

I like the Mizzou ties. I like that they are both successful. Something about both make me uneasy. Maybe just lack of experience in an AD. Owens age I'm not a fan of.

Kellen Winslow. He needs to be involved with the school. I think he would be a great recruiter. The student athlete probably would not know who he is but their father's sure in the hell would !!

Didn't Kellen apply once before and was rejected, because they said he didn't have any experience? I think he's AD at a small college now.

If i remember correctly it was a train wreck and he took shots when he wasn't chosen.

And i believe he was fired from being AD at Florida a&M for being inept at the job.
