Tobias Little has opened his recruiting back up.

Curious to see how many more we lose. Guess it depends a lot on the next coach.

I'd say it depends entirely on the coach.

That's the reason id like to see us move quickly on the next HC. It'll be a month or more before the next coach is announced, and there will be defections in that time.

A few, then we'll gain a few.

It's whatever. Recruiting classes during a coaching change are chaotic, but there is almost always the "new coach" bump in recruiting for the first couple of years.

So true. If there was a year where losing some recruits wasn't terrible, this is the year.

The local guys are less apt to decommit. I include the JUCO ESL kids Strong and Taylor and McCann from Ofallon Il. those coming from the long distances have the best chance. It's scary picking a school far away without family nearby and with uncertainty like we have, it just makes them think.

I'm guessing we lose 3-5 more but We'll gain that many within a week of a new coach announcement.

One more recruit doesn't sound to sure to me unless somebody else interprets this differently

One recruit(offer) who had Mizzou in his top five has dropped them from consideration now

Alden seemed like an AD who was not in a hurry when hiring a BB coach. Rhoades is in the business of recruiting. Recruiting money. He knows a big name coach and hired quickly makes his job easier.

The kid from Texas has been planning to be an early enrollee

Hard to go ahead and head to school if you don't know the coach you will be playing for.

Social media will cost us more recruits than the actual stupid protest.

Look at Otto Porter, he told us name a coach by so and so date and we didnt. He didnt really care who the coach was as long as there was one.

Then wouldn't he have just came anyway? I mean unless he thought we would just forego the basketball program and not hire a coach at all.

I remember saying that to myself when I heard him say that. I think he meant to say he wants to know so he can build some sort of a relationship first, idk.

Either he worded it wrong, or he just wanted there to by a coach the day he announces.

Castillo is taking a visit to Oklahoma this weekend, so he's anything but solid as well.

Pinkel says he called all of MU's committed players last night to assure them, ask them to listen to whoever succeeds him.

Pinkel also said he told the team's 2016 commits that they have his number, he'll be around and they can call him whenever.

The thought of Haith being hired wasn't in Otto's mind when he made that comment.
