I'm starting to think hiring Odom was a mistake and he hasn't even coached a game yet.
He gave Mauk another shot which was clearly a mistake and then he was unable to retain our best assistant. He did a good job getting a decent replacement but he was unable to retain him too after only a few months and right before NSD. I'm pretty sure Vandy is out recruiting us right now.

Yeah because Odom can see the future and knew that a two year old picture would leak.

It was a video and he should have been gone long before that was leaked.

Hey man, if you guys want to wallow in misery be my guest.
I'm just not going to join you.
I've been through several shitty times in my life, and without fail, they have all passed. The majority of the time when you look back at them they were never as bad as you thought they were at the time.
Mizzou fans are a particularly peculiar bunch. Always waiting on the next shoe to drop and seem to be happiest when they can feel sorry for themselves. Self loathing is a favorite past time.
Like I said, you guys have at it. I'm just not going to join you. In due time we will have a new DL coach, the 16 class will be behind us, the campus shite will eventually fade, and Odom will have either won or not and if not we'll hire someone else.
Life goes on.

First year is basically a throw away. It's not going to be indicative of anything, really. We're not going to be a good football team next year. So just take a breath and wait until next year.

Umm, I'm confused. What am I being negative about? I've been supportive even with the craziness.

Was just a general response. Not anyone in particular

Being sunshine and unicorns 24/7, can be just as annoying and the sky is falling crowd.

Well, you'll have to point me to where I've been that.
If not thinking the football program is going off the rails is sunshine and unicorns then guilty as charged.

Hey, I was agreeing with you. I jumped on the Odom train with you from Day One.

I'm not unicorns, but I'm thinking good 2016, here's why...
1. Ricker dismantled the confidence of an experienced OL with his scheme and apparent lack of ability to teach it.
2. Andy Hill is back with the WRs where he belongs. Heupel will coach Lock, a very very good match.
3. Henson's offense didn't have an identity. It just sort of existed. Without Josey or Mauks late game heroics, he was exposed as a terrible planner and game day executioner.
4. The defense will be outstanding.
5. The running backs are bigger and faster.
6. Mizzou recruiting is never exciting, but there is no denying the upgrade in athleticism the last 2 classes.
7. 2014 Florida offense looked a lot like our 2015 offense. They became average on offense and look at the team turnaround, we can do the same.
8. As utterly terrible as the offense looked, a coach with Cancer, boycotts, qb on cocaine, what team actually blew us out in 2015? Not UGA at home, not UF. Even with the shite storm, our talent was competitive.
Not only will we be good, we will thrive in 2016.

This made me chuckle. The other shoe tends to always drop on Mizzou though. Missouri fans didn't just start acting like this in a vacuum slick.

Why so? He wasn't in my top three, to replace Pinkel. However, I'll support him, like I have every other new hire, until he gives me a reason not too.
There is no way in hell, he could have known, Wilson would make such a Dick move like this......... This is on Wilson. Not Odie. Just my opinion

Again, as I understand it, it was more Kuls call then Odom. Most agree he was still butthurt about being passed over for the DC when Odom returned.... So Again, I don't think it's Odies fault.

No actually, it looks like a draw. lol.......
I don't think many expected us to recruit great this year. Not with a new coach. Not with a rookie head coach.. I think with a decent record, that can start to change next year.
