Auburn threw up like 9 against McLain who has a solid ERA. Houck, the next day, throws a complete game shutout with 4 hits, 1 BB and 10 K's.

Kid is just filthy.

btw - Mizzou won the series against Auburn. 2 SEC series in a row. A couple of tough ones coming up. Shame we blew some very winnable games in non-con and against Vandy. This season could have a very different outlook right now.

Auburn put up runs on everyone they've faced this year. Houck is pretty much the only guy that's held them down.

Will I need to buy Sunday tix in advance or will I be able to get them once I'm down there? I'd like to be there all weekend, but Mumford & Sons is my GFs favorite band and they're playing in STL on Saturday.

So I made it out to the game yesterday. Got a late start leaving St Louis so we missed the first inning. Was able to walk up and buy tickets, for only $5! If it were a little closer, I'd make more games. Still, after being late and getting walk up tickets, we were in the chairbacks behind home plate. We also got a ride in a golf cart from the car to the front gate. That was especially nice since there is a huge arse hill going up to the stadium and my GF was in flip flops.

Was a pretty good crowd and an enjoyable day at the ball park. Went to Broadway Brewery afterwards for some beer, it was only okay. Made a run by Craft Beer Cellar to grab some stuff we can't get in St Louis, and then had Shakespeare's before heading home.

I've been to COMO probably 6 or 7 times before. This is the longest I've stayed and the most I've explored. Really like the town. Will definitely make more trips.

If you wanted to see an arse kicking you went to the right game. Glad you enjoyed
