Fire Anderson now, and bring in "guest" coaches for each game. Could be fun.

One game it's the mayor of CoMo, the next it's Carl Edwards. Jaeger-bomb contest winner? Or maybe that old dude who wore the Eagle Scout uniform, walking up and down Forum picking up aluminum cans (old Columbia reference from 80s-90s, sorry).

Maybe Killz.

Here's the cool part--if one of the guest coaches actually fricks up and wins a game, they get an automatic interview with Sterk.

There's no downside to this. Solid plan top-to-bottom.

I have been assured Sterk has a plan. It involves a deck of cards, a bottle of Jameson, and three sheep so I don't know what the hell that is all about.

but it is a plan

I think letting the players self coach at this point would be a better option. We haven't played a good SEC team yet, rest of the season will be ugly.

This a great idea. Invite famous or semi-famous people to coach the team.

The first choice... a gent who grew up in the show me state, Glenn Jacobs AKA pro wrestler Kane.

Go the whole nine yards, have him wear the mask, set off the pyro, pay Jim Ross to do the color commentary and drop a few "bah gawds". At the end of the game he can choke slam KA at half court.

Well, Jay Nixon is looking for work. He's pretty tall, too. And a True Son!

Plus, since he's spent the last 8 years doing virtually nothing constructive, he'll likely continue that inaction, so he can't screw anything up much worse than it already is.
