We are two weeks away from the start of the season. Who are we expecting to start at QB? Has there been any information come out on how Cook, Garcia, and Horn have looked? Are we expecting this battle to last into the season?

Cook will start but the #2 will get snaps. The #2 will have to pry it from Cook by game 3.

Cook was just named captain. Like that doesn’t scream starter.

Damn. Well I guess that settles it, Cook will be starting week 1. I'll root for him but unless he's made massive strides coming back from his injury, our offense isn't going to be as improved as we'd have hoped in order to take the next step forward under Drink. Maybe Horn will come around by SEC play and be ready to start

What's it say when Horn looked all world coming out of HS but can't overcome Cook? Maybe Cook can now make the throws plus throw in his running, he's the better option.

I really thought Horn would make it obvious especially with Cook sidelined during the Spring. But I guess he was slowed down because of the baseball injury. The WR room is loaded, just need a QB who can make the throws.

It doesn’t say anything. Our coach ran Schrader last year. We had at least two running backs who were obviously better. I would argue three.

Captains are chosen by the team. Cook must be a good teammate. I will pull for him as I want the Tigers to succeed and love his desire to be a Tiger. That said it will end up biting us in the arse.

But fans had that Love, Hate relationship with Franklin too, and he almost got us to a natty game.

I think Cook is going to make people regret shitting on him. How can you not root for this guy. Tiger from a young age, starting qb at his dream school. I hope he wrecks this year.

No one is rooting for him to fail. There’s just low expectations.

They need to see the potential for the throws before they can make them. I don't think a healed injury is going to change what Cook sees on the field.

It’s not that anyway wishes shite on him. It’s just that we all saw him throw the ball and he’s not every good at it.

But it could be said that the 3 other guys haven't created any buzz. So either Cook has improved or all 3 of the other guys are playing badly.
