Wondered how he did last year, heard nothing about him, so looked him up. As a soph, he started a couple early games but was mainly in a "reserve role" from then on. Blurbs were typically, "Came off the bench to provide blocking for our xxx yards rushing." Caught 3 passes for the season for 10 yards.

Certainly respect his college choice, but wonder how much he could help us, damn it. In my opinion, he's too good an athlete to "contribute blocking."

Pretty sure he was a backup to Howard. Who just happened to be a first round pick.

I doubt he'd start over Blanton, or if he's anymore of a receiving threat than Reece.

He'd likely just be depth here as well.

I'm cautiously optimistic for Blanton to have a really big year this fall.

Hentges is more of an old school TE, that's a really good blocker.

Blanton is definitely a player that could head to the NFL if he has a big season. 6'6 and 270, he's a great athlete. Albert O is build much the same way.

The kid played a shite ton as a true freshman. He was in on the heavy packages and run sets. He was very good.
