All the damn kid has done is work his arse off, play harder than anyone else on the offense and oh yeah, gets results.

It truly is amazing how the kid has 5 of the longest plays from scrimmage this year and he continues to get benched for a guy who average 2-3 ypc.

It's absolutely mind blowing.

...And this is why players transfer. Now most of Hunt's career is already over.

Either our coaches are incompetent or playing favors. They don't want to admit they picked the wrong guy out of camp and rather stick with who they initially picked to avoid the possibility that they were wrong. Now that Abbington has seen what Hunt has went through, he might be more likely to leave the program.

From Dave Matter's Twitter:

Pinkel on Tyler Hunt -
quote:

"I get asked about him when he gets a 70-yard run. Nobody asked about him before that."

Yep, it's time for the Pinkel era to end. He's just frustrated that the RBs were not correctly evaluated in camp and was hesitant when it became glaring during the regular season Ish was not the right choice.

But but but that would be not smart of him.
He has a like 2% chance of winning the starting job next year over shite Wilter.

That's exactly what he said. The responses on Matter's Twitter mirror ours.

I dont imagine mizzou is much different than other programs in this respect. they dont like making a walk-on a star. it shows shitty judgement by the coaching staff for the last 4 years.

Tyler Hunt came to mizzou to fight for a spot that he earned. they missed the fact that he could be the best future RB for several years in a row and by starting him they would look stupid, which they are.

That's bullshite.

He's been asked about Hunt and Abbington almost every week on 920.
