Lyon College is a very conservative, liberal arts school in batesville, arkansas. This past year was their first year playing football. Naia school and they take their academics seriously. Have to make around 30 act score to get in.

quote:

A former four-year letterman and safety for the University of Missouri football program and defensive graduate assistant at both Missouri and University of Memphis, Del Howard has been promoted to defensive coordinator of the Lyon College football program, Scots' head coachKirk Kelley has announced.

Howard served as defensive backs coach for the Scots during the program's inaugural season in 2015. He impressed Kelley so much during the first season that it wasn't a tough decision when the position became vacant recently.

"I'm excited about Del stepping into the position because he knows our guys, he's been here and he's also been out on the recruiting trail," Kelley stated. "He has a great familiarity with everything, he's a hard worker and he loves football."

So do you really not understand what the term "Liberal Arts" means. Please tell me you're not one of those people who think the word "Liberal" only applies to politics.

2006-2009?

What kind of fan are you?

His resume is looking good after finishing college.

Howard, assisted the Memphis defensive coordinator with game planning and scouting reports, while also facilitating the offensive scout team. At Missouri he assisted the defensive coordinator with daily duties and helped run drills with kickoff and punt returns.

Prior to arriving at Lyon, Howard was the defensive special teams and academic coordinator for OD Prep in Oklahoma from August to December 2014, where he broke down film and recruited athletes in Dallas, Texas; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Nashville, Tennessee; and Shreveport, Louisiana. Howard was also the cornerbacks coach on the University of Wisconsin-Stout football team from August 2013 to July 2014. While serving as the cornerbacks coach, Howard assisted with game planning and broke down film on all opponents.

Don't recall him. Must have been buried on the depth chart. So villify me if I don't remember every 3rd string player from several years ago.

He made all of 4 tackles in 9 games his senior year. I somehow doubt I was the only one who didn't remember his name.
