They tried to run on him tonight, the Milwaukee PBP guys just laughed it off.

Like, why did we try that?

I wish I could get their broadcasts.

When I lived up there they used to always tire pump Yadi and I loved it. It makes my brewer friends so mad.

And yeah, that guy had no chance tonight.

If you look at his AB's now compared to even 3 years ago, different hitter.

Completely relaxed. Locked in.

The guys a HOF'er I don't care what anyone else says, he passes the eye test.

Yeah, I always get a little fired up when he's compared with other catchers and people talk about his career batting average being low.

His first few years in the league he wasn't ready as a hitter, guy is a solid 5 hole guy. Tough strikeout, lil pop, shoots both gaps, clutch, perfect rbi guy.

Yeah, even 3 years ago he was constantly changing his batting stance. Always readjusting and trying to find what fits him best.

He finally settled on one that suits him and he's now fully comfortable at the plate.

I just remembered the time when Yadi took off all of his gear at home plate. Classic moment.

We, as Cardinals fans get a lot of shite for talking our guys up, but Yadi, yeah, he's the real deal.

I'll never forget when he hit that home run in game 7 against the Mets. Completely unexpected, what a moment.

For a minute there a couple years ago there might have been some way to say he's not going to be a HOFer, but right now it's just about a given.

I kinda miss the Mets being good, I liked hating them. Those few years there were intense with them. That manager they had was no match for Tony.

Yep, in my mind he wasn't.

Something has clicked since Pujols left.

He's done nothing but reinforce my thoughts since 2011.

It's almost like AP left so Yadi could shine.

Two rings and 6 straight gold gloves. If he can keep hitting for the next three years or so he'll lock it up.

Probably needs 2000 hits. Might be tough to get there considering his first five years, but if Ozzie got in, he should.

Tony caught a lot of slack in his years in STL, but for those that were actually paying attention he was probably the best mind frick in the game.

Dude got a lot out of guys, and never really got any credit for it.

He had a twisted way of motivating guys.

2000 would be nice to lock it up for any doubters. He might get there, should be over 1300 after this year. He'll need ab another 5 good years at the plate.

If he keeps up the defense gotta think he'll get in.

I'm cashing in for the night... nice to sweep brewers tomorrow, bring em down to earth a little bit.
