And I made sure I wore my Mizzou gear just for him. Actually a couple of his high school friends that were down there with him staying on the grounds are going to Mizzou. So there is that.

Not only did you get to experience the Masters

I would recommend anyone that gets the chance to see that golf course for ANYTHING do it. I'd try to describe the beauty of the place but that's been done before and frankly, words aren't fitting enough.

As for the tournament, yeah, never, ever thought I'd end up there.

And in the fashion he did. I don't mind telling ya, a tear or two may have flowed. All beer induced though. But thanks my friend. I'm sure your brother and his wife told you all about it. The golf is cool. Watching the players is cool. But the real story is the place. It's unbelievable no matter when you're there.

The real story is that your close family member just became a legit superstar and is on his way to Tiger Woods status. I don't think you need to be reminded that he'll probably be worth hundreds of millions within 5 years or less.

You, sir, if you are a pretty cool cousin (and it sounds like you are because you were at the Masters to support him) are about to experience a lifestyle that will forever remain completely foreign to 99 percent of the world just because you are family.

That may sound like misplaced focus, but let's be honest...it's the real 500 lb gorilla in the room and you know it.

I'm a little jealous.

Nope. I'd watch with the rest of the family and his friends and we never stood that close to him. His mom is on the constant move and always staying a swing ahead of him. And never up on the rope. Tried to avoid the masses, not because they bothered his mom or dad or whoever, but just because we never wanted to get caught in the masses.

Congrats to all. That boy has got some serious game.

It's not just a catchy thing to say the thing better than his game is his drive. He is absolutely driven to be the best.

Congrats man! I enjoyed watching him all weekend. Seems like a class act and that usually comes from how you were raised.

Thanks. His mom and dad and entire family really are "good people" as they say. I would be shocked to no end if I'm wrong when I say you will NEVER get any Tiger-esque stories from Jordan about him banging porn stars. Probably bores some people, but the reality is, they're solid people. His brother is on a basketball scholarship to Brown. I tried doing KA's job for him and recruit him to Mizzou.

He's like a 6'6" guard who averaged 10 ppg as a true freshman.

The thread that I started on the rant was moved to the Off Topic Board where you can still view everyone's responses.

Thanks my friend. I'll check it out. I might even start a thread on the MSB for the fricks over there.

The place is amazing killz. No matter what you're there for. The story truly is the course, not the golf or the players. If you're a fan of nature, or trees, or plants, or landscaping or anything remotely related, you'd call the place heaven. The one odd thing that about the place...not one bug. Anywhere.

I'm sure he's gonna make more than I have ever dreamed and yeah, have already seen some of changes. Suffice it to say, if only I were single. And I'm just the ugly cousin. You can imagine what he goes through.

Awesome. The beers are cheap enough. We're you there for all 4 days?

Naw, we left at 11 Thursday night, got down there Friday around 10. Went to watch some in the afternoon on Friday and then Saturday and Sunday. Beers, soda and food are all extremely cheap. Like a $1.50 for sandwiches and drinks. Think the beers were $4.00.
