Does anybody teach our WR how to catch a football?

Consistently catching with the body, and consistently dropping balls they should catch.

If they catch half of the passes they dropped its a very different ball game. I imagine that is going to get some reps this week in practice.

I'm going to punish myself and rewatch the game, but right off the top of my head I can recall two big drops on 3rd downs and those are obviously drive killers. I actually saw some encouraging things, we just have to execute better.

You are made of stern stuff JQ. I still can't bring myself to watch the Toledo game.

Andy Hill is a great receivers coach, but it'll take some time to get them in shape. With him back at his natural position, I expect to see improvement in the receivers as we move forward. But we had gotten so bad, it won't happen overnight.

Maybe they could watch a video clip of LaDanien Washington making all those 3rd down catches in 2013 that kept the chains moving.

I miss seeing that guy on the field.

Moore was robbed of a touchdown reception at the end of game when the db hit him early. The refs didn't call the PI or we get the the ball 1st and ten at the 4 or so with a min to go.

Didn't mean anything to the game outcome but the offense could have used the extra reps.

Luckily the game next Saturday should allow the coaches to rotate a number of receivers in and out of the game.

They already know who is best in practice. Now they can find out who plays best in a game setting.

Moore and and Black with 100 plus receiving yards are off to a good start on having a productive year.

I'd honestly like to cut the rotation back.

Pick your top 5 or 6 and roll with that.

Right now, I think our top 3 WR are Mason, Black and Johnson. Problem is, they are all smaller guys.

I would barely play Moore. Force Lock/Huepel to target someone else. 23 targets for anyone, much less someone who has inconsistent hands, is ridiculous.

Washington and Sasser didn't become clutch receivers until they were seniors. Black or Culkin may have to fill that role this year if others don't stop dropping the ball. If I remember right Culkin was in the doghouse for dropping passes a couple of years ago so it is a curable affliction.

Are there any viewing options for the game on the internet?
