For an abbreviated chat, Matter touched on a wide variety of topics - football, baseball, basketball, facilities, coaching, etc. Well worth the read for those starving for a little Zoo news during the off-season.

Also, I'm not sure what pseudonym Killz goes by on Finebaum, but someone referenced a caller with a very Killz-like knack for jimmy rustling and am wondering if this "Richard" is our wayward son?
And knowing his wont for self-promotion, would it surprise anyone if the chat questioner was Killz too?

Did you hear about this Richard guy from MO on Paul F show going off about mizzou has beating everybody in east & have won it twice we have arrived! (MAN he got all the callers fired up!) But, Paul came back with the SECCG vs BIG BOYS bad loses, was not a great showing mainly vs Bama. How do you see it Dave? 3 peat the east would be great again but, do we have to beat the big boys of the west on the road or in THAT GAME to say we have arrived as legit sec member? Thanks again still I'm M I Z

Paul is a douche bag. Both "big losses" were 4th quarter losses and anyone that sees it differently never watched either game.

I attended both games, and the Bama game was def not a 4th quarter loss

We're down 8 going into the 4th so technically you're correct but a total blowout it was not.

I'm a realist and the total truth is in me! We(Mizzou) were never in that game and Bama beat us up and down the field. They were more physical and athletic and it looked like boys against men. We didn't belong on the same field plus Saban put the brakes on after the first couple of series by going conservative. The Bama players never looked worried on the sidelines as they laughed and joked all game.
The same thing happened our first year in the SEC against Bama. A total beatdown and then they took their feet off the pedals.
Against Auburn we had no chance of winning that game, because our defense couldn't stop them, while our offense played well we could't have score on every possession on offense. In the B12 we were demolished both championship games against Oklahoma. This is why some of us long time Zou fans wanna see recruiting step up a little more, because we get the cute girl to go to the prom with us, but she ends up dancing and leaving with somebody else.

I believe this year's class was Pinkel's highest rated class yet.Just imagine if Hentges and Ofodile would have stayed home.

This is my favorite line on this board ever

Can't dispute that line since it is reality.Hopefully, one of these years that will change.

I suspect Hentges will eventually transfer to Mizzou because of a lack of playing time at Alabama.
I also suspect Ofodile will do well at Oregon.
I base these two prognostications on the coin I just flipped.

Sure would have been fun to watch Lock throw rainbow TD passes to Hentges and Ofodile in 2016 and beyond.
