MGC didn't announce he was transferring until summer (July 15th to be exact). Don't make me dig up the "Waltonitis" posts. I don't make this shite up.

Barnett is a substantial upgrade over Allen in all facets. As long as he works hard on the court, he'll get some major minutes.

If we could land a decent big, with Puryear at PF, Barnett at SF, Wright/Walton at SG and Phillips at PG, we would have an almost serviceable starting lineup.

Barnett really doesn't have a wing skill set from what I know of him. He's more of an undersized 4 like Puryear and Allen.

Last year we heard that KJ was so good in practice that MGC knew he was doomed. Here comes the shite again.

They were never on campus together so how did they practice against each other? Is this some of that special TB insight?

I would still worry about scoring with that lineup. No proven outside shooting. I thought Wright could be a plus outside shooter this year, but he hasn't developed that yet. The defensive side is where I think that lineup would be a big upgrade over this season.
