There are basically 3 position coaches that I wouldn't or wasn't worried about leaving, and he's one of them.
I bet you can guess who the other two are.

What's funny is when I first heard of his retirement, my first concern had nothing to do with the football program. The first thought through my mind was, damn, he's like 6 years younger than our basketball coach that is just STARTING his career at Mizzou.
IMO GP has done a pretty solid job with his more recent hires. I questioned Grinch at the time, but he's proven his worth so far. Henson is a no brainer so far. Washington seems to have been a solid hire. I think he'll bring in yet another solid hire.
