He didn't retire from Oklahoma to coach Mizzou.

Why not Pellini? Why not Miles? Why not Chizik?

Pellini has all kinds of issues.

I don't think Miles is a good coach. I also don't know how well he recruits. He didn't have to recruit at LSU, a top 10 in state class comes there every year if you do almost nothing.

Chizik? Maybe, but doubtful.

So we should not even put forth the effort? Brilliant!

I'm guessing Sterk won't.

Won't matter either way.

Also big game Bob didn't retire because he still has the extreme amount of drive and energy it takes to do this job.

Stoops built a mansion on the west side of Norman. Really nice house and area. He's not giving that up or taking a chance on tarnishing his legacy in the mess that currently is Mizzou football.

And of course there is always Mike Leach at Washington State. If your program is going to be a joke then it needs to be a funny joke that wins games!

I mean that's how you build a program. I really don't know how much Miles or Pelini has left in the tank to rebuild a program.

I say hire Lane Kiffin, grab some fricking popcorn, and let's have some fun

No coach is leaving their program for Mizzou unless hes returning from exile like Petrino a few years ago. That list is short...Briles, Pellini, Sumlin(its gonna get ugly for him),and Shannon. Pellini is the best choice. His teams won, he just wasnt a fit for the nub culture. We have no fan culture. Perfect fit!

Pelini will get an FBS shot sooner than later, he took Youngstown State to the Championship game last year.

the list is not that short if you include up and comers at mid majors. I don't know why if have to limit ourselves to burn outs

Candle

or Pelini

and Satterfield is not a midwest guy which gives us fits but he makes 525K. How much does he love App state?

If your dead set on a new coach why not Chad Morris at SMU. He's in year 3 of a major rebuild. He also has major ties to Texas.

Or a guy like Bronco Mendenhall. He was great at BYU. Virginia isn't letting his recruits into school, so he could be looking to move.
