Averaged 8 points a game as a freshman, dropped out of the rotation under a new coach as a sophomore.

I went to high school with Ronnie and his older brother Scott. Scott was a top 50 recruit in 2008 or 2009 and went to Washington. Was in the D league doing decent. Saw Ronnie play his senior year quite a few times and I wasn't impressed at all...still a decent get I guess.

Assuming our last scholarship is waiting for Jontay, This is as good of a pick up as we could possibly get for a walk on. I thought the only news left to hear about MU hoops recruiting this year would be the news of Jontay reclassifying, so this was a nice bonus to read about.
I remember following Ronnie a little bit years ago. He's got game. Just to have that kind of quality walk on for inter squad scrimmages will be a big plus.

He committed to Mizzou under Frank Haith and was asked to go spend a year in prep school. He decommitted from Mizzou after that and went to Bradley.

Dave Matter seems to think that Jontay will reclassify this year. He keep saying that it's not the matter of if, but when.

I don't think he went to juco. He played 2 years at Bradley, and was only listed as a sophomore last season.

Really quality walk on. He can start at lower levels of D1. Sounds like he's always wanted to be at Mizzou as well.

He is probably the best walk-on we've had in a while.

He will never play.

....especially shooting 30 something percent from the field and 20 something percent from three. He can at least play some defense. He has the CVL disease with his jumper which was pretty decent in high school.
