I grew up listening to the Cards in the 70's, you remember, the decade that competes as one of the driest in Cards history.
I always thank the Royals for sending us Whitey in that time of dire need.
Also a Blues fan, so you see, KC doesn't have it so bad, chief needs to get over it, it most DEFINITELY could be worse.

I think the only thing that comes close to as bad as a KC fan is a Cleveland fan or a San Diego fan. But KC is worse (assuming you're a Mizzou fan) because Cleveland fans probably cheer for Ohio State and San Diego, well...they live in San Diego. Plus I doubt the Chargers and Padres have had the same kind of laughable misfortune that Mizzou and the Chiefs have had. Point being...most sports fan have at least one team that they can lean on for good times.
That being said, glad I'm not a KC sports fan anymore.

Oh by the way, you can't be a Bama fan for three reasons.
1. YOU'RE A DAMN YANKEE. They'll spot you in a heartbeat.
2. Bama won't make it back to the SEC CCG this year. You picked them in a down season.
3. You still have "Tiger" in your user name. Just don't make any sense. You'll have to go with Auburn or LSU or maybe Memphis.
So see, destiny is already giving you signs that you can't get away. It's like "Hotel California". You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave.
