I just can't wait until after Saturday. After Saturday, there are no more excuses. Produce or go.

Mulder and Woods are dominant today. Forster was good too, but personally I want those two the most of the JUCO kids.

I'm not saying they passed us up, but thats like getting mad at a kid for choosing the Zags over us. It happens and Marshall is a great coach. It's not as if they are hometown kids and have ties. They also haven't made a decision yet. I completely agree we are a better program than both, I just don't think because one kid sees potential going to WSU that is necessarily a refection on us. Basketball programs are often very cyclical and we are down. Hopefully KA can bring us out of it. We've all seen Mizzou rockin and supporting big time basketball and I'd like to see it again....My issue with the move to the SEC was that I thought the big 12 was a great bball conference and it might hurt us moving to the football heavy sec. I think the SEC right now has potential to be a pretty good basketball conference going forward though. It's a bit underated this year in my opinion. I think Martin, Pearl, Calipari, Donavon, Stallings are all pretty good coaches with track records. LSU is getting big time recruits and Ole Miss and Tenn both support ball.

It's not just one kid. We don't have any impact recruits. Probably no one who will significantly impact our team for a least a year.

I feel like I'm in Groundhog day because I feel like I keep posting the same idea. But the constant mischaracterization of the situation is really annoying to me.

The key is no big impact recruits yet. Of the committed kids they all fill needs, so will be able to fill specific roles.
Relying on freshmen is not the way most successful teams approach the game anyways.
There are a couple impact JUCO players, but the biggest impact as far as improvement probably comes from the maturation and development of players already on the roster.

Seaniec04, I don't disagree with a thing you are saying. Kids are going to choose different schools for different reasons. Even schools that I would like to believe have lesser programs. Heck the Davis twins chose Nebraska over Mizzou in football. Can't get them all. The difference is, in football, GP still landed Terry Beckner. Show me who the Terry Beckner is of this basketball class and I won't be as concerned about the job KA is doing.

Rivals is hearing Indiana is the leader for Bryant and there's a decent chance he will commit to the Hoosiers on his visit this weekend.

Well Indiana lost. Thon Maker was there with Bryant.

Awesome JUCO game featuring 4 Mizzou targets having great games. All could easily have started for Mizzou this season.

2OT game JA Logan wins.
Payne named region MVP.
Woods & Mulder named all region.

With Tom crean supposedly on the hot seat......does that give mizzou one last hope? (Regarding Bryant)

Wiggins was pretty good at Kansas. Every school in the country would have taken him. Maker is suppose to be the real deal but I doubt he plays college ball.

Put me in the minority, i'd rather have Bryant than Maker. Maker is a stud, but the hype for him is what he will become AFTER college. I was a college player not an NBA player. Think Wiggins, he wasn't actually that great at ku and everyone was riding his train for what he would become after.

I am beginning to think that is a bad sign as well. I am not very confident in this next class although KA may be offering several as he knows he is losing some kids to transfer which would also be bad.

Two more offers? Doesn't sound good. We have a lot of offers out there and few spaces (as of now).

They both have been better of late and both unfortunately have better coaches and fans that go to the games.

Let that sink in. Mizzou is now losing recruits to Wichita State or Creighton.

Wiggins was very average if going by the hype train. Im kinda 50/50 on him since I hate him bc he went to ku, but his NBA trainer is a friend of mine.

I just can't help but shake my head at where this program has fallen to. So damn fast.
