One thing I noticed about their defense is they seem to try to jump the snap a lot. It's worked, but they also have multiple offside penalties. I'm not real sure if a hard count is even possible the way we snap the ball, but we need to vary or cadence somehow because that is something they most definitely try to do.

Their OL is looking kind of porous to this point as well. Getting pressure on Grier regularly but to his credit he is getting the ball out. Dropped their RB for a loss several times already.

UF looked more like the team that struggled vs UK and UT than a top 12 team. Ole miss just shite the bed.

If we limit our mistakes and force a couple from UF, no reason we can't win this game.

The OL seemed to play better after the point I made that post. Grier is the real deal and they have a lot of playmakers. Defense is fast and physical. They'll be quite the test.

Of course, OM made a ton of mistakes and that was by far Florida's best game of the year. No guarantee they play like that Saturday.

They are good, but we can certainly beat them. We just have to play a clean game and not miss opportunities to make big plays when we get them.

Same as anything. Have to throw in a beat before the snap to mess with the D.

I will say, far less false starts this year.

I think I read that they are doing it so Boehm can keep his head up when snapping and not to have to look through his legs.

I'm sure there is some way to vary it, and they better do it because UF is hellbent on jumping the snap count.

I was sitting in South endzone stands and Skai Moore was trying to cause a false start by clapping. Seemed like a smart play to me but none of our OL fell for it. There must be a cadence to the clap the line is anticipating.

It's something the coaches are aware of thankfully. They'll have some type of plan for it. Hope it works. Saw Ricker talking about them jumping the snap.

Only thing I'm worried about on defense is extending drives with stupid penalties.

Then this should have been an unsportsmanlike penalty. Defenses by rule are not allowed to interfere like that.

It was a home game for Florida and Ole Miss gave the game away in the first quarter, they never recovered.

I expect Mizzou to take care of the football much better than Ole Miss did. I also expect a road game for Grier to be much more difficult than the last two home games he's had. By all accounts they would have lost to a competent coach against Tennessee.
