It's like Colorado going to the PAC. There were some obvious problems with going, but they had a chance to get stability and took it. If this latest rumor is true, that's what will be driving this.

808, how well do you trust your source? And where's RC? How's Kilgore feeling this morning?

I'm sure Alden also likes that Jay Wright is such a snazzy dresser...

So a week and a half later with a board meeting called and we think we know even less than we thought we knew yesterday.

I wonder if the AD is in a similar position

Where is Kilgore? I saw him earlier on TB. He must have to work for a bit. Work can really get in the way of this coaching search investigation.

My indirect source is as connected as anyone I know. They would be well-known enough that Alden could target them for bad information. And he apparently is giving that stuff out like candy on Halloween.

I would guess Alden created a master plan for domination of the human race and coincidentally the sports media after he looked so bad after Painter/Haith. I think he knows exactly what he's doing at each step. Not sure it will make any difference in the end. But I'd guess he likes being in control.

Alden is not a stupid man. And he does not like to be embarrassed, ala the painter fiasco. Kudos to him.

Amen to that. He needs to update. From what I understand he is still solid on the Marshall to Mizzou thing.

why would he leave for Mizzou? Also, I asked my friend that works at KAKE (abc affiliate) in Wichita about GM to Mizzou and what the talk around the station is... His response, "hahaha no way he would take that shitty job" he said no one there is even thinking about him leaving WSU.

What was your retort?

Obviously you defended us while he attempted to besmirch our honor?

Dolla dolla bills, y'all. A little rain can make lots of things look better.

Typical of something a beaker would say though.

Except for the assholes at the station that decided to do the commercial tease for that interview with G Marshall before the first and second breaks a few days ago.

They thought enough to use it as a tease to get people tuned in and to keep them tuned in through the stories about civil reenactments and whatever other boring arse shite happens in Wichita that they have to report before the sports segment.

Sorry dude, your friend is a frick.

ETA: My bad, that was KSN. Still, the competitor thought enough of it. Etc etc etc
