Maybe it's the best we can do, but I absolutely hate these games. It's bad for perception and the game is a now win. You win, so what? You lose, and you lost to what's perceived to be a poor program.
I was hoping Sterk could stay away from this.
Another downside is we now have two non con road games in 2021.

Saw Memphis road game moved from that year so just one ooc road game that year. I hear ya about no win situation but that's probably why the Ohio states of the world won't play us. So it's either bc or northwestern Wyoming state tech

Its a power 5 school and they might be decent in 5 years. Way better than delaware st eastern michigan or midd tennesse. We might get to restart illini series as well.

Yeah, but these games don't replace Deleware St. They are in lieu of playing better power 5 programs.

You and I disagree on these. I like 1 cupcake 1 bad p5 and 1 solid p5. But here's the thing, you have no idea how they'll be in 6 years. Hell, BC had a BETTER defense than we did last year. Yes, last year we would have gone into that game as underdogs.

Odom wants scheduling just like Pinkel. Conference is tough enough without more tough OOC games.

Keep scheduling Indiana, Purdue, Boston College...that's who you get lumped in with. Those games create zero buzz or exposure.

The New AD literally said you get associated with who you play in the OCC. I wonder if this was well in the works before he got here.
